If you want to be confident that you get the correct results from a pregnancy test, let Life Center do the testing. Our pregnancy tests are completely free. Also, we believe you deserve complete privacy and respect, and therefore will not share your test results with anyone.

What is a Pregnancy Test?

Pregnancy tests work by detecting levels of the hCG hormone in your urine. The hCG hormone is known as the “pregnancy hormone.” Your body makes this hormone after the embryo attaches to the wall of your uterus. This process usually happens about 6 days after fertilization. The levels of hCG rise quickly, doubling every 2 to 3 days.

At Wabash Life Center, we use only the highest lab-certified pregnancy tests. Our tests are 99% accurate, so you can be sure of the results. Plus, our registered nurse on staff can discuss your other symptoms as well.

Can I retest if my first test was negative, but my period hasn’t started?

Yes, we’ll be happy to retest you! Since the hCG hormone rises so rapidly, testing again should give you an exact result. Some pregnancies end in a miscarriage. In fact, many women don’t even realize they’re pregnant before the miscarriage occurs. A miscarriage could give you false test results too.

What if I’ve Already Taken an In-home Pregnancy Test?

We recommend you still come to Life Center to be retested. Often, women don’t read the full instructions of an in-home test kit and do the test incorrectly. Or, they take it too soon. Since our pregnancy tests are free, you have nothing to lose, and you can be confident you’re getting the correct results.
